Mutter Museum Custom Tile
One of my favorite parts of having an Etsy shop is getting requests for custom work. The next few blog posts will be focusing on a few of the great requests I've received so far this year.
I began making these small skeleton tiles after I found a box filled with some of my "ancient" moulds from years ago. That was before Etsy - actually, even before the internet, if you can imagine that! When I found this skeleton stamp I immediately grabbed some clay and pressed it into the mould, and decided it needed an added decorative border. They've become a very popular item in my Etsy shop, and now they've become a very popular item at the Mutter Museum in Philadelphia, PA.
I've been given the freedom to choose design and glaze color details. The third re-order will be shipping tomorrow, and I'm already designing a new batch for the next re-order. This is a very fun custom request and I hope they keep it coming!
The results of more custom requests coming soon.

I adore the Mutter Museum and your peculiar work.

Thanks David! I've never been to the Mutter Museum, but hope to visit it soon. Linda
