Saturday Blog: Song of the Day - Julia Haltigan and The Hooligans

Yet another blog post from our Tuesday trek into The City! We headed over to Bethesda Terrace to take a look at the restored tiles gracing the interior...more about how we got there later. The tiles were spectacular, but the entertainment going on outside was just as good. Two talented bubblists (yeah, I made that up) were making gigantic swirls of glycerin gleam rainbows of colors that floated in the air....cool!

But the music coming from across the pavilion immediately drew us over. It was mainly the female singer who caught us...but as we sat for their last few songs of the day, we became fans of the whole band. Here's the short video I took...not sure of the title of the song, but I'm imaging it's something like "I'm unsatisfied". Check them out on their website Julia Haltigan and The Hooligans.

More from NYC tomorrow!!

Thanks.

I remember the bubbists... were performing in the background behind the fountain.

This is a nice place.
