Summertime in my backyard

Just a quick post of what's all around me when I step out the back door and into the world, which I need to remind myself to do on these beautiful days of summer.

Just out under the eaves a robin family flourishes.

They grew so quickly.

I heard a loud chirping and stepped out to see one of the parent robins in the nearby maple calling the babies to come fly away, next time I looked they were gone.

Some beautiful purple coneflowers.

My Rose of Sharon with such lovely blooms.

Abbey never forgets to smell the flowers.

The cucumbers are thriving this year!

Green beans, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, cilantro, basil, lettuce, and summer squash are growing nicely in the garden. Picked for dinner tonight!

Chocolate pudding for desert is always a treat!!!!

 Now....back to work!!
