Full Moon Shadow!

What an amazing moon there was last night. The calendar says that tonight is the official full moon, but I couldn't find the missing pieces of last night's moon as I stood out under it's reflected light! Jaye tells me that it's the "Buck moon", the Farmer's Almanac says "The Full Buck Moon – July is normally the month when the new antlers of buck deer push out of their foreheads in coatings of velvety fur. It was also often called the Full Thunder Moon, for the reason that thunderstorms are most frequent during this time. Another name for this month’s Moon was the Full Hay Moon."
You can call it anything you'd like....just go outside and enjoy it!

Using my tripod and a long exposure - the moon over the back field.

Pulled in and longer exposure.

A bit longer exposure and the clouds are brilliant.

Don makes shadow monsters.

Soaking up the moon shadow!
